Sorry I haven't written sooner. I want you both to know that I have been praying for you daily. What a wonderful work this is, and a true picture of the plight so many good people have found themselves. We have one of our church members in Turkey right now, delivering babies as a MidWife. Continue to do the good work God has called you to do!

Steve and Val,
We continue to pray for the work there and now will be praying for Pam also. I'm sure the Spirit is working in the hearts and lives of those you touch.
Love and blessings,
Steve and Lanita

That' is great that one of the students came to church.

I want Dan to know that his mother's Memorial service was WONDERFUL!
The Central church building was full. The grandkids sang and did an outstanding job. It was perfect. Chris let one song and Theris did another. Julie did a great job on organizing the Luncheon. Ron said that he has never seen a service that large for someone over 90 (most of their close friends are already gone or not able to be out to come). Dan's son did a great job reading Dan's message.

Richard filmed it so you can feel a part of it when you get home. We all feel that the fact that you are on a missionary trip speaks well for Vera and her teaching to you. I know she wouldn't want you to be anywhere else. God bless you both,
Carolyn

Your stories really take me back to the halcyon days when we were all in SPb teaching the same lessons. It sounds wonderful in B.A. but don't run Dan off with so much work. I know you love to do it and you do it so well. It's great the Dan has such a role model. The church sounds like it is a good one to work with. the students, especially Dan's that came to church, sound interested. I hope and pray the remaining days and weeks provide the time and lessons needed to produce faith and repentance and real turning to God. God bless you both.

I loved the pictures. How exciting to hear of the work you are both doing. How nice for Dan to have an experienced partner. We are praying for you both and the work there.

Ron is going to do a great job with Vera's Memorial. We are back in Sacramento area and Julia Mitchell is coordinating the Luncheon following the Memorial with both to be held at Central.

God bless you, Carolyn
